Oh my, this year seems to have simply flown. I am in the midst of preparing for relatives to come for lunch tomorrow and trying to pull together last minute gifts for those that I didn’t plan on needing a little something special for. The children are beside themselves, and I am ever so grateful, aside from the celebration of the Savior’s birth and his death for salvation, that my spouse is home to be with our family. It is a true blessing to be able to enjoy him so much and see him with the kids.
So tonight, we will share our advent wreath and pray that we are well prepared to bask in the mystery and wonder of God’s love.
